Clint Levanen, founder:

​          The way we work today is rooted in strong values—doing things right, working hard, and standing behind our word. Those principles were shaped early on through hands-on experience in a small family excavation business, where the fundamentals of the industry and the importance of integrity were learned from the ground up.

Years spent in the rugged logging industry of the Pacific Northwest further strengthened that foundation. On the cold, wet slopes of western Washington, a deep respect for safety, teamwork, and discipline took hold. The culture in the woods made one thing clear: strong companies are built on strong people working together with purpose.

After settling in Minnesota in 2010, years of experience with established excavation companies provided broader perspective and insight into the industry. Opportunities were often found where others saw obstacles.

In 2017, Levanen Underground was founded with a simple mission: build lasting relationships, deliver quality work, and create a company people are proud to work with and hire. Each year since has been marked by growth, persistence, and opportunity — made possible by trusted partners, dedicated crews, and valued clients.
