We view it not as a job but as the highest privilege to be entrusted with this responsibility. We take it seriously; we pursue to serve with the intent to continue forever serving the surrounding Minnesota community's.

Our Story

The way we do things now stems from the way we were raised. At an early age I was taught the value of doing things right, working hard, and keeping my word. My dads small excavation company kept me out of trouble through my school years and I learned the basics of the industry during this time. After graduating high school I was itching to try something new. My adventurous ways landed me in the Logging industry in the Pacific Northwest where my informal training continued. On the cold, wet and unforgiving slopes of western washington I learned the value of a strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset, traits I value to this day. The positive attitudes and committed team work I witnessed in the woods made me believe in the value of a strong company culture.

In 2010 I married a Minnesota native and we decided to start our family here. After working for several well-organized excavation companies and learning the in and outs of the industry I started to see opportunities. Where some larger companies saw headaches or problems, I saw needs that I could fulfill. After gathering as much knowledge as I could through friends old and new, I started with optimism in 2017. Today we continue to build great relationships and work with a lot of amazing people. We strive to always put our Faith and our Families up front to keep us aligned and make Levanen Underground a family of its own.
